We believe that “if we’re good in safety, then we’re good in business.” Health and safety is a critical success factor for our operational performance and not something we regard as a separate activity. This is why it is seen as a core competency at all levels of Crismachem´s organization, from site operators to top managers, and as a key component of successful personal performance.
We want to do more than prevent accidents: we want to conduct our business with a goal of zero harm. To realize this aspiration, we use the guiding principles of Responsible Care® program to which we belong. Responsible Care® is the global chemical industry´s voluntary initiative whose objective is to ensure that the companies joining to this Program commit to constant improvement in the development of their activities, and that places special emphasis on Safety and Health Protection.

Our EHS Policy also promotes the individual health of each of the CRISMACHEM’S, employees, by taking actions to prevent illness connected with individual risk factors such as a sedentary lifestyle or nicotine addiction. Taking into account the physical constraints of the workstations, promoting a a good work-life balance, facilitating teleworking, as well as preventing the psycho-social risks and the stress connected with work are all challenges to ensure the health of employees and good working conditions.
CRISMACHEM is the first specialized distributor certified as a “Brain Protected Space” by the Freno al Ictus Foundation and as a “Cardio Protected Space” by the Salvar Ataque al Corazon.
