CLP

The CLP Regulation is the European Legislation on Classification, Labelling and Packaging of Chemicals (Substances and Mixtures). It came into force on January 20th 2009 and introduces a new system for classification and labelling of chemicals. It is based on the “Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals” (GHS) of the United Nations. The aim is harmonizing the classification of substances and mixtures and the communication of the dangers by means of Labels and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) throughout the Supply Chain.

The CLP Regulation replaces stepwise the Dangerous Substances Directive (DSD, 67/548/EEC) and the Dangerous Preparation Directive (DPD, 1999/45/EC). CRISMACHEM is aware of its responsibility for correct classification, labelling and packaging of the sold products.
