Crismachem is recognized as Innovative SME by the Government of Spain, through the Ministry of Science and Innovation

– Eugenio Navarro –

Innovation is one of the essential factors for the economic growth of a country, hence it occupies a prominent place in European and national policies, becoming one of the key factors to job creation, medium-term growth, productivity and ultimately the improvement of competitiveness.

When it comes to innovation in SMEs, there are those who think that to be an innovative company it is enough to research or apply new ways of doing things in production processes or services. But beyond this reality, in order to be an innovative SME, in addition to a series of formal requirements, a real activity in terms of innovation policy must be demonstrated.

Spanish Royal Decree 475/2014 of 13th June 2014 establishes the definition of Innovative SME and through which the Ministry of Science and Innovation recognizes companies that carry out R&D&I activities. This seal distinguishes companies that are committed to innovation by carrying out intensive activity in this area.
In this way, and after the certification of its R&D&I management system in accordance with the UNE EN 166002 standard, CRISMACHEM takes another step in increasing the added value of the brand.

CRISMACHEM starts its professional career

– Eugenio Navarro –

We cannot think of anything more exciting than launching a new professional project. On top of that, it is not any professional project, but the one we have always dreamt of in CRISMACHEM, which has implied not only the corresponding learning and essencial experencince to approach this venture, but also dealing with bureaucratic, fiscal, contractual and financial hurdles. However, all this soon disappeared and we faced a clear and spotless path to work on. As a consequence, the day we actually start working accounts for a tiny discontinuity in time for all those of us that are part of CRISMACHEM: our employees, suppliers, customers, partners and many more. In this regard, by implementing the ideas we had worked so hard on and becoming real, CRISMACHEM aims at being a reference in the manufacturing and distribution of innovative and sustainable chemical solutions that allow our partners to be in a better position to compete. We really want to be inspirational and a breath of fresh air to all of them because we are fully aware of the fact that their success is also ours.

CRISMACHEM launches a new range of self-produced additives called BEUMITH®

– Marcelo Montoro –

CRISMACHEM aims at assessing the technical competences and contributing to making products better. As a result, BEUMITH’s main goal is to contribute chemical advanced solutions in the construction industry. In this regard, BEUMITH highlights our wide experience and technical knowledge in the construction industry, as it features a wide range of additives that work on 2 different properties that have a huge impact on the performance of mortars either dry or hardened: rheology and retraction. None of them are subject to regulatory requirements and, as a consequence, are neither under quality control nor certification. However, this does not mean these are not important additives for this type of products and, if ignored, it may lead to poor performance when building or faults.

BEUMITH additives act upon these faults improving their properties, such as its application, user-friendliness or aesthetic quality. Without a doubt these are properties of great importance for the operator. They also contribute to avoiding such common problems as adherence faults, cracks and loosening and detachment of structures.

By doing so, BEUMITH’s main objective is to improve final products’ quality beyond regulatory requirements. In addition, in compliance with CRISMACHEM’s sustainability policy, 95% of raw materials used to manufacture BEUMITH’s products originate no more than 300 km away from our factory, which contributes to reducing our carbon footprint and to improving our materials’ life cycle.
